A Russian capsule carrying two cosmonauts and Korea’s first astronaut blasted off from the Baikonur cosmodrome Tuesday, en route to the international space station.

Congratulations to South Korea. Really good to see a young woman as the first S Korean to fly in space. At 29 she is too young if you compared to the US astronauts’ ages when they first make it to space.

I am too proud of her achievement. The entire country is talking about her. Yi So-yeon is our national hero. Wish her and her family all the best. May she has a safe flight. Great achievement. Korea is proud of Yi.
